Jennifer Houghton is the driving force behind Crystal Care Services and has been in the Private sector since 1984. Jennifer is involved in the day to day running of the business and has a reputation for offering high-quality care in a homely environment.
As owner and Chairwomen of Crystal Care Services, Jennifer is extremely proud of the reputation that she has gained over those last 30 years and is looking forward to her new venture in the launch of Crystal Care Services. She is passionate about offering person-centred and compassionate care within a homely and comfortable setting.
Mohammad, known as Mo, has a wealth of financial experience and expertise. He trained as an Accountant with the Big Four Accounting Firms in the UK and subsequently has been working with small-medium enterprises.
He has been in the Care Sector since 2013 and has held a number of senior finance positions.
He is responsible to set and implement the Board Strategy, to manage the day to day running of the business and to deliver on the Company's growth and acquisitive plans.
Sandra, a nurse by background, and has worked in the private sector starting in the private sector in 1991. She has worked both for large corporates and smaller family run businesses. She is the nominated individual for the Company and is responsible for making sure that the care that is delivered the Homes is of a high standard.
Sandra has predominantly worked with the elderly all of her nursing career and has an empathy with families who struggle to find a Care Home that can offer the care that we all expect for our loved ones. She believes that training is paramount so that each staff member knows exactly what the job entails and what is expected from them to deliver the highest possible standards.
Sandra is supported by an Operational Team consisting of 2 Operations Manager, a Compliance officer and a support manager. As a team they carry out robust quality assurance in the homes and keep up to date with all regulations and compliance changes that take place.
Jude qualified as a nurse in 1992. She has worked in the Care Home Sector for nearly 20 years in various management roles.
Jude is passionate about ensuring that those who have mental health disorders or complex behaviours are enabled to access services which help them to feel safe, regain confidence and feel part of a family.
Jude is responsible for 3 homes and she carries out Proprietor visits, audits and ad hoc visits to make sure that the homes maintain quality via robust quality assurance.
Carole has worked in the care sector for over 27 years with a background in Administration and compliance.
Carole has an eye for detail and focuses on high quality care and standards, which comes from her military background and attention to detail and accuracy.
Carole is responsible for 4 homes and she carries out Proprietor visits, audits and ad hoc visits to make sure that the homes maintain quality via robust quality assurance.
Jeff gained experience in social care as a Commissioning Officer within Hartlepool Borough Council. Jeff contract managed many social care services in the community and was particularly skilled in assessing the quality of Older People’s Care Homes and supporting them to regain and sustain contractual and regulatory compliance. Jeff entered the private sector in early 2018 and joined the company in January 2019.
Jeff provides guidance and support to home manager’s and seeks to drive improvement to ensure our home’s are performing to the highest standard.
Lynne comes from a background of Mental Health Nursing but has spent many years developing skills within the private sector firstly as a Home's Manager and then a training tutor.
Lynne is passionate about developing care staff and nurses in their area of practice.
Part of Lynne's role is to support managers as required to maintain a high standard and quality of care whilst promoting robust systems and structures set out by Local Authorities and CQC.
Care Liaison Officer
Geoff comes with a background of working with Local Authorities and over the last 17 years in the private sector. He has held senior positions with large private providers and brings a wealth of knowledge to the group.
Geoff supports the team in new business and the company’s expansion program and is an active member of various Home Owners associations.
Our “Dining Room Experience” is something every resident will look forward to as mealtimes should be all about the taste and smell and presentation of glorious food.
Mark is passionate about presenting food that is not only nutritional but is also tasty, appetising and is a well balanced diet.
Throughout the day there is fruit and snacks available with a variety of drinks as hydration is an essential necessity for well being. He takes great pride in presenting food that meets all of our residents tastes and has regular discussions with our Residents to see what their favourites are.
Theme nights are a speciality and there often is a taste of Indian, Chinese, Italian and the good all round English favourites. When there is a special birthday Mark ensures that he has one of his master pieces ready for the event and this is the most amazing cake that looks out of this world and has the taste to go with it!!!!
Marks standards are his key to success and he trains our kitchen staff to meet his expectations.
